Felicity Porter followed Ben Covington to New York, to find hserself and claim Ben's heart. But who said it was going to be easy? Due to the reality that they didn't know a thing about each other, it could never work out. Ben saw her as a friend which broke Felicity's heart. Ben sought after her best friend Julie Emrick while Felicity's resident advisor Noel Crane pursued Felicity. Both Ben and Felicity developed a bond after enduring a fearful attack, where they could turn to each other no matter what. He delievered a sweet gesture by replacing her stolen family airloom necklace with another. In return she would offer a shoulder to lean on whenever he needed help. After complicated relationships with both Julie & Noel, could Meghan's love spell have worked? Both Felicity and Ben saw each other in a new romantic lightm resulting in an amazing cross country road trip across America.

Upon their return, Felicity and Ben had to face the consequences as a result of their relationship. Noel was scarred by Felicity and Julie felt betrayed by both of them. However it wasn't this obstacle that ended the relationship, Ben's inability to commitment became evident after

listening to Felicity's tape to Sally. Felicity knew what she had to do and confronted him telling him by the time he realises his heart it will be too late.

Time passed where they did not interact at all, but after Spring break of their Sophmore year did fate bring them back together. On a spare of the moment decisions, Ben and Felicity broke into the University pool and after much fun got caught by the campus police. This forged a renewal of their friendship, also making Ben realise his hasty decision not to date Felicity earlier. Community service and Dr Pavone brought these two closer together much to the chargin of Greg Stenson. Felicity's lack of trust in Ben allowed to become intrigued by Greg's charms. Ben's growing love for Felicity began to take him on a journey to win Felicity's heart. He tried to prove that Greg was bad news, getting an internship to have direction, on and off dating Pam and finally following Felicity and Greg to Rhinebeck to confess his love and mistakes to her. It all backfired with his confessions falling on deaf ears and a demand for him to get out of her life. After a crazy night of misconceptions, Felicity realised that the person she really couldn't trust was herself, Ben created a "time machine" where they could start all over again. They became a strong couple, even spending the Summer apart just when they had gotten together but they were bonded by those three special words...."I love you"

When the Summer passed, Ben returned to New York and they picked up where they left off..in each other's arms. After a bizaare attempt to live together they mutually agreed it was too fast and decided to maintain seperate living arrangements. Their junior year produced a number of events that would push and pull at Ben and Felicity's relationship with Julie's sudden departure, a surprise semi-naked picture of Felicity and Randy circled the internet and Mr Covington. Despite these trials nothing stopped these soulmates from wanting to work through things together. Avery Swanson shot into the scene literally , her presence began to cause a rift in their relationship, this was also a time where Noel realised he was still in love with Felicity. Felicity and Ben pulled through their oncoming advances, they again spent the Summer apart, however Noel stayed in NY with Felicity.

Senior year fell upon Felicity and her friends with Ben returning from Kansas City with the aspirations of becoming a doctor while Felicity seemingly lost turned to Noel for comfort. Felicity's infidelity was kept a secret, while Ben became more focused on his studies, Felicity spent time trying to find a way to support herself through the remainder of college and to forget her guilty secret. Felicity broke up with Ben momentarily but they got back together, only for Noel to drop the bombshell unexpectedly through a moment of misunderstanding. Ben wouldn't hear her excuses, Felicity wrote an amazing letter to Ben telling him they were meant to be and that somehow they will find a way back to each other. They however continued to hurt each other although they succumbed to their feelings in night of passion momentarily, they tried their hand with dating otther people. Only for them to realise they missed each other more than anything, Ben receiving soundful advice from his father, Felicity and Ben passed the test of true love...a perfect match
